AiToolkit allows users who create an account to request permanent deletion of their AiToolkit account and associated personal data, subject to limited legal, security and billing retention requirements. Account deletion is different from cancelling a subscription: cancellation stops future renewal, while account deletion removes the account itself and begins deletion of associated data.
3.1 How to request deletion
- 1. In the AiToolkit app, open Settings, then Account & Privacy, then Delete Account. Review the warning, choose the account/workspace to be deleted, complete identity verification, and confirm the deletion request.
- 2. If you cannot access the app, send an account-deletion request to [email protected]. You may also contact +91 95581 33552 for support with the deletion process.
- 3. Use the registered email address or registered WhatsApp/mobile number where possible. State clearly: “Delete my AiToolkit account and associated data.”
- 4. AiToolkit may request reasonable verification to prevent unauthorized deletion. Do not send passwords, one-time passwords or full payment-card details.
App-store compliance — The website deletion page must remain accessible even if a user has already uninstalled the app. The in-app route should remain easy to find in account settings.
3.2 What deletion normally removes
– AiToolkit account profile and login access.
– Workspace membership and user-specific preferences.
– Personal identifiers controlled by AiToolkit that are no longer needed for a lawful retained purpose.
– Customer CRM data owned solely by the deleting account when the account is the only owner and deletion is authorized.
– API credentials, application sessions and stored authentication tokens controlled by AiToolkit, subject to secure revocation processes.
– Support or operational data that is not required to be retained for security, legal, accounting or dispute purposes.
3.3 Workspace and administrator accounts
If you belong to a business workspace, deleting your personal user profile may remove your access without deleting the business workspace or data owned by that business. If you are the sole owner/administrator of a workspace, AiToolkit may require you to transfer ownership, remove team members or confirm deletion of the entire workspace so that other authorized users are not unexpectedly locked out.
3.4 Subscriptions and outstanding charges
Before completing deletion, active subscriptions should be cancelled and any undisputed outstanding charges should be settled. Deleting an AiToolkit account does not automatically cancel or delete third-party subscriptions, WhatsApp/Meta assets, payment-provider accounts or other services you connected independently. You may need to manage those separately with the relevant provider.
3.5 Data that may be retained after account deletion
AiToolkit may retain limited information after deletion when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, tax/accounting records, fraud prevention, security investigations, dispute resolution, proof of consent/opt-out, enforcement of agreements or protection of legal rights. Retained information is restricted to the relevant purpose and is not kept in the active user account.
Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted or access-controlled backups and are removed or overwritten according to the Data Retention Policy. Deletion by AiToolkit does not necessarily delete copies independently controlled by Meta/WhatsApp, your business customer, message recipients, integrations or other third parties.
3.6 Timing
AiToolkit aims to verify and begin processing valid account-deletion requests promptly. Active account access may be disabled earlier, while deletion from production systems is generally targeted within 30 days after verification. Backup copies may take up to 90 additional days to expire through normal backup rotation, unless a longer period is legally required. If applicable law requires a different deadline, the legal deadline applies.
3.7 Irreversibility
Permanent deletion may not be reversible after the deletion process has completed. Before deleting your account, export any information you need to keep and confirm that your business has transferred ownership of essential data, numbers, integrations or administrative responsibilities.
3.8 Before you delete your account
Before confirming permanent deletion, review the following items so important business access is not lost unexpectedly:
– Export any CRM records, reports, templates, contact data or other information you are legally entitled to keep and that the product allows you to export.
– Transfer workspace ownership and administrator responsibilities if other team members still need access.
– Cancel paid renewal and review any outstanding usage, third-party or invoice charges.
– Record any WhatsApp Business Account, phone-number, integration or API information that must be managed separately after AiToolkit access ends.
– Remove or rotate external API keys and credentials if they will no longer be used.
3.9 Connected WhatsApp, Meta and third-party accounts
Deleting AiToolkit removes AiToolkit-controlled access and data according to this policy, but it does not itself delete a WhatsApp Business Account, Meta Business Portfolio, phone number, payment account, app-store subscription or account maintained by another provider. Data already transmitted to a recipient or independently stored by another service remains subject to that recipient or provider’s own retention and deletion process.
3.10 Deletion status and support
If you need confirmation about whether a deletion request has been received or completed, contact [email protected] from the registered account or use +91 95581 33552. If a request is still pending, AiToolkit may be able to clarify its status. Once permanent deletion has been completed and backup rotation has progressed, restoration may no longer be possible.
